	Holding Monster: Body & handle made from weaker material; mild steel shear pin prone to corrosion in strikes contact area; pivot pins not welded in place




	JDM Sport: handle made from weaker material; lock button is fixed and does not act as secondary lock; housing cut away to allow the lock to function, thus weakening it; handle needs to be pushed down at one end to allow it to open; mild steel shear pin in strike contact area; pivot pins not welded in place.




	Top Speed Pro 1: Made from aluminum, poor finish & heavy; very stiff action with grinding feel; no side entry apertures; mild steel shear pin prone to corrosion in strike contact area.




	NRG Racing - Carbon Fiber Locking Flush Hood Pin Set:Body and handle made from weaker material; Pivot pins NOT welded in place (allows pins to fall out); No secondary lock button; Shear pin made from MILD steel, "carbon fiber" is merely a sticker on the surface that peels off; Lock cam nut held in place by 3 threads (with no thread lock feature the nut cam can fall off allowing latch to open); Keys captive in the unlocked position (needing 2 separate keys to open the hood); Hole in strike pin is off-set (making the pin weaker on one side)




	D1 Sanko D1 Generation: Body and handle are made from weaker material; Body is distorted due to material shrinkage; Pivot pins NOT welded in place
