Terms & Conditions For Our Suppliers
  1. All invoices and packing lists must clearly reference Coast Fab PO number.
  2. All material is to be clearly marked and identified with both part number and lot number (when applicable).
  3. When purchase order states that manufacturer's certifications or test reports are required, material received without required documentation will not be accepted without a written approval from Coast Fabrication, Inc.
  4. If purchase order indicates that new surplus material is acceptable, parts are to be shipped with vendor's C-of-C or documention stating material is new surplus and non-traceable.
  5. All purchasing requirements shall be flowed down to sub-tier subcontractors and subsuppliers.
  6. Immediate notification is required upon discovery of any nonconforming product that has been or is about to be shipped to Coast Fabrication, Inc. or any changes to product that may affect its quality and suitability.
  7. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, material is to be supplied to the latest issue of appropriate specification.
  8. All material should be adequately packed to protect from damage during transit and handling.
  9. A quality management system is required.
  10. Product inspection records, test reports, and other documentation related to Coast Fabrication's purchase order must be retained by the supplier for a minimum of 7 years.
  11. Supplier agrees to provide, with appointment, right of access to Coast Fabrication (customer) and accredited regulatory authorities to all its facilities involved in order processing and to all applicable records. Coast Fabrication (customer) and/or pertinent government agencies may perform on-site audits or inspections related to supplier’s performance hereunder at supplier’s plant, including, but not limited to, audit or inspection of supplier’s facilities, systems, equipment, testing, data, personnel, all work-in-process and completed products manufactured.
  12. Suppliers specifically warrant that they will supply only Approved Non-Counterfeit products. Any parts appearing to be unapproved or suspicious, and therefore possibly counterfeit, will be rejected and returned to the supplier.

Payment: Unless credit has been approved beforehand, payment is by one of the following: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, UPS or FedEx C.O.D, or prepayment. Contact us for open account information.

Shipping: Mode specified at time of sale. In-stock items ordered before 12 noon are shipped same day via UPS or FedEx. Special shipping needs can be accomodated upon request.

Prices: All prices are subject to change without notice. Current price is quoted at time of sale.

Dealers: We have programs available for both small dealers and large distributors who wish to carry our product lines. Details and requirements are available upon request.

Special Orders: In addition to the large working inventory of current usage and universally popular aerospace fasteners we stock, we are subscribers to online aircraft/aerospace part number databases. This gives us the capablility to quickly locate and supply hard-to-find, unusual and nonstandard items. Typical response time is less than 24 hours.

Returns: If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it (unused and undamaged) for full credit, refund or exchange. All returns require an authorization number. Special-order and custom-fabricated parts may not be returnable, or may be subject to restocking charge. All requests for returns must be made with in 30 days of purchase date.

Freight Damage: In the event of a transit loss or damage please notify the carrier immediately. Contact us subsequently and we will assist you in processing whatever claims are necessary, and in replacing the lost or damaged items.

Quality: Coast Fabrication, Inc. sells only new items purchased to applicable aerospace specifications from major aircraft fastener manufacturers and distributors. We insist on the highest quality parts. Certificates of Compliance / manufacturers certifications are available upon request.

Warranties: All items are warrantied to be free from defects in material or workmanship, and to confrom to all applicable standards. Since Coast Fabrication, Inc. has no control over how items are specified, installed, used or maintained, the warranties of merchant ability and fitness are herby expressly excluded
